Concrete

My core is cracking,

Like cracks in the concrete,

Turning into dust,

Floating away into the sky,

The heavens turn murky,

Making the cracks disappear,

I try to hold myself,

To keep the seam entwined,

Knots are becoming bigger,

Thicker and matted,

They become harder to hold,

The weight of atlas’s burden,

On my slumping shoulders,

I try to keep myself together,

My puzzle pieces,

Becoming undone,

Each piece missing the other half,

And my concrete,

Just vanishes,

My knots,

Gone,

My puzzle,

Missing
